I'm very excited today to announce the launch of my newest online website called Web Design for Less. It's an online website ordering service designed specifically for the Canadian marketplace and features full e-commerce services for order WordPress websites online quickly and easily.
PayPal Shopping Cart
Web Design for Less features a unique PayPal shopping cart, custom coded for the site which allows users to select both a template and optional extra items before proceeding to a purchasing screen. The cart is similar to the tool created for Great Chefs Television and allows me to quickly add full shopping cart functionality to a WordPress website without complex coding.
WordPress
The website makes use of some fairly advanced WordPress theme tricks including automated image resizing and optimization. More importantly though, it looks great!
Much like the online quote form found here on christopherross.ca the website allows customers to quickly assemble a quote for a powerful website in seconds. The key difference, these websites come complete with everything you'll need to be up and running right away and you can order online.
jQuery
The site also features a dynamic jQuery slide show which is tied directly to WordPress 2.9′s feature image technology, allowing me to quickly add a feature image to any page and have the image added to a randomized jQuery feature image collection.
