Great Chefs television has over 500 DVD’s for their multi year television show, so when I was contact to build a great website for Great Chefs, the first thing I needed to do was update 20 years of DVD’s to standard angles with modern artwork.

Working with local 3D artist Joshua O’Neill, I created artwork for dozens of series and hundreds of discs in a fraction of the time it would have taken to setup photographic settings for the discs.

Goldilocks MLS Real Estate Website

Not every web design project I work on is in complete isolation, in fact many of the sites I work on I barely do anything at all but instead help support a team of great designers or developers. That’s the case with websites such as Goldilocks Estates in Kelowna BC where I helped an amazing British Columbia designer, Jason Vance of Red Mill Creative put the finishing touches on this custom WordPress solution for an area realtor.

In this case, I took a wonderful design and style sheet which the designer had already converted to a powerful WordPress blog and added a custom real estate module to the site which allows his client to easily post houses using MLS (Multiple Listing Services) information from their listings. With Jason’s guidance and a strong knowledge of the WordPress platform I took the time to research the best plugins and code to make this website list properties in an effective manner while respecting his creative guidance.

I work with a lot of designers by helping to do the heavy lifting of coding web based applications, improving WordPress or simply converting their already wonderful Photoshop files to web ready W3C compliant code.

Girl Guides of British Columbia Website

It is truly hard to imagine another job in the entire world which would allow me to help people, send little girls to a dream camp and earn a living but being a web designer does just that!

When the BC Guild Guides needed a website, I took an existing website design and built a strong, stable and expandable website using WordPress to power the system. This simple step allowed a non-technical team of volunteers to quickly upload new photographs, add content and keep their membership informed using impressive RSS tools and social media options.

Christopher Ross & Co.’s sister company Regent Software has had a facelift! Actually, it’s much more than a facelift, it’s a redesign of the website with the addition of six new software titles designed to help WordPress consultants make the most of the popular blogging platform.

The website has had a fresh make over but still runs the core WordPress engine which allows Ross to quickly add new pages, modify software listings and post to the blog element of the site.

Isaac’s Way Restaurant wanted more than a simple menu website for their family friendly diner in the heart of downtown Fredericton, they wanted a website that their team could update regularly with community events such as their art auction and monthly raffles.

Easy Content Management
Christopher Ross & Co. wanted to build an easy to manage website complete with rich content editors, easy to upload photo tools, complete Twitter integration and links to popular social media sites.
